BILATERAL ‘EX AIRGUARD 23/2017’ OPENING CEREMONY
CHONG PANG CAMP, Singapore, Tuesday 29 August 2017 – Bilateral exercise code-named ‘Ex AIRGUARD 23/2017’ between Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) and Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) was launched this morning at the 18 Divisional Air Defence Artillery Battalion (18 DA Bn) in Chong Pang Camp, Singapore. The two week exercise held from 28 August to 11 September 2017 is the 23rd in the Ex AIRGUARD series.

RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Monday, 28 August 2017 - Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held a sending-off ceremony for the airmen of No.2 Wing that will depart for The Republic of Singapore for its annual bilateral exercise called Exercise Airguard (Ex Airguard) from 28 August until 11 September 2017 at Air Movement Centre, Royal Brunei Air Force.

RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Monday 28 August 2017 – Commander Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwar bin Haji Ma’awiah received a courtesy call by Colonel Joachim Sproll, the Defence Attaché of Germany accredited to Brunei Darussalam based in Republic of Indonesia, who is currently on a farewell visit to the country.

Rizqun International Hotel, Friday, 25 August 2017 – Thirty Six Sergeants of the RBAirF were presented with their certificates of course completion of the Sergeant Leadership Course 1/2017 that was conducted from 24 Jul 2017 to 25 August 2017. The Leadership course was conducted by 77 Squadron, No 7 Wing, Training Group.

RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday 23 August 2017 - Commander Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwar bin Haji Ma’awiah received a courtesy call by Commander Lee Chang Hun, the Defence Attaché of the Republic of Korea accredited to Brunei Darussalam based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, who is currently on a working visit to the country.
