THE CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE FIRST JUNIOR AIR FORCE OFFICERS’ DEVELOPMENT COURSE (JAODC) 2025
KAMPONG RIMBA, Thursday, 18 September 2025 – The Closing Ceremony of its first Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Junior Air Force Officers’ Development Course (JAODC) was held at Auditorium CAE Brunei Multi-Purpose Training Centre (MPTC), Kampong Rimba. A total of fifteen (15) Lieutenants of various vocations in the RBAirF successfully completed the seven-week course conducted from 4 August to 19 September 2025. Brigadier General (U) Haji Haszahaidi bin Haji Ahmad Daud, Commander of the RBAirF graced the event with the attendance of senior RBAirF officers, personnel, and invited guests from Canadian Aviation Electronics (CAE), Intelligence Training Wing (ITW), and external units.
EXERCISE PACIFIC ANGEL CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday, 18 September 2025 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) and United States Pacific Air Forces (US PACAF) convened a video teleconference (VTC) for the Concept Development Conference (CDC) of Exercise Pacific Angel at the Air Movement Centre (AMC), Rimba Air Force Base.

Thursday, 18 September 2025 – Two special awards were presented to outstanding participants of the first Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Junior Air Force Officers’ Development Course (JAODC) ; Lieutenant (U) Muhammad Dzulfadhli bin Bahrin received the Best Achievement Award for the Air Power module; and Lieutenant (U) Pg Aminor Fikhri bin Pg Amir Hamzah received the Best Achievement Award for the Military Planning module.
COMPANY/SQUADRON SERGEANT MAJOR COURSE
PENANJONG GARISSON, Thursday, 18 September 2025 – Two personnel from the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), Staff Sergeant (U) Muhammad Ali Hijra bin Ramli and Sergeant (U) Zunaidi bin Tuah, have successfully completed the 2025 Company/Squadron Sergeant Major Course.
PARADE CEREMONY IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 10th ANNIVERSARY OF NO. 4 WING, SUPPORT GROUP, ROYAL BRUNEI AIR FORCE(RBAIRF)
Thursday, 11th September 2025 - No. 4 Wing of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) marks its 10th anniversary since its renaming as No. 4 Wing, Support Group. However, its history dates back to 1993 when it was originally known as Air Wing Quartermaster and Logistics. The ceremony was held to celebrate the achievements and contributions of the personnel over the period of 2024-2025.
ROYAL BRUNEI AIR FORCE AND BRUNEI HELICOPTER DETACHMENT REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE AIR FORCE CONDUCTED UNPRECEDENTED MIXED FORMATION SORTIE
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, WEDNESDAY, 10 SEPT 2025 — 11 Squadron, No. 1 Wing, Operations Group, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) and the Brunei Helicopter Detachment (BHD) Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) executed an unprecedented mixed formation sortie comprising of two S-70i Blackhawk RBAirF and two H225M RSAF helicopters in a Arrowhead and Diamond 4-ship formation. The sortie formation aims to strengthen aircrew coordination, tactical confidence and combined interoperability.
