RBAirF STUDENT PILOTS OF BASIC AND INTERMEDIATE FIXED WING TRAINING COURSE-61 COMPLETES FIRST SOLO FLIGHT
CAMDEN, AUSTRALIA, Thursday, 14 August 2025 – 06 Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Student Pilots undergoing Basic and Intermediate Fixed Wing Pilot Training Course-61 have completed their first solo flight at Air Combat Australia between 09 July 2025 and 14 August 2025.
TWO PERSONNEL FROM RBAiRF PARTICIPATED IN ITE–IBTE STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAMME 2025 IN SINGAPORE
SINGAPORE, Thursday, 14 August 2025 – Two Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) personnel, Private (U) Renee Suzanne binti Udan and Private (U) Norshafinaz binti Morsidi, currently pursuing their studies at the School of Aviation (SOA), Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE), were selected to represent the institution in recognition of their excellent academic achievement to participate in the ITE–IBTE Student Exchange Programme 2025.
RBAirF EDUCATIONAL VISIT FROM FILIPINO LANGUAGE AND CULTURAL ENRICHMENT PROGRAM (FLCEP) TO RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday, 14 August 2025 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) welcomed an educational visit from the Filipino Language and Cultural Enrichment Program (FLCEP), consisting of 85 students, at Rimba Air Force Base. The visit commenced with a safety brief and followed by a briefing on the RBAirF’s organization, roles and capabilities. This was then followed by a visit to Hangar A to view the aircraft static displays and equipment.

UNIVERSITY BRUNEI DARUSSALAM, Wednesday, 13 August 2025 – His Royal Highness Prince (Dr) Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Pro-Chancellor of University Brunei Darussalam (UBD) graced the afternoon session of the 37th Convocation Ceremony of UBD and presented the certificates to the graduates at the Chancellor Hall, UBD.

BOLKIAH GARRISON, Monday, 11 August 2025 – The Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies (SHHBIDSS) today conducted the presentation session of the Top 5 Policy Analysis Exercise (PAE) Papers for the 19th Executive Development Programme 2024 (EDP 19/2024) for Senior Government Officials on Public Policy and Management by the Ministry of Defence, held at the Lecture Hall of the Institute.
