CLOSING CEREMONY FOR MAINTENANCE PRACTICES COURSE 02/2025
BERAKAS, Friday, 23 May 2025 – The Closing Ceremony for the Support Maintenance Practices Course 02/2025 was held at 75 Squadron, No. 7 Wing, Training Group, Berakas. The three-week course, conducted from 5 to 23 May 2025 and organised by 75 Squadron, aimed to strengthen the professional competency of RBAirF personnel. Two participants from the Technical Equipment Maintenance Department (TEMD), No. 5 Wing, RBAirF, successfully completed the course.
COMMANDER RBAirF ATTENDS THE 17TH EDITION OF LIMA ‘25
LANGKAWI, MALAYSIA, Tuesday, 20 May 2025 – Colonel (U) Haji Haszahaidi bin Haji Ahmad Daud, Commander Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) attended the 17th Edition of the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace (LIMA) Exhibition that took place from 20 May 2025 to 24 May 2025, at the Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre (MIEC) in Langkawi, Malaysia. This biennial event is one of the largest aerospace exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region. The Gracing Ceremony & Opening Gambit was officiated by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Yang Amat Berhormat Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim. This year’s exhibition theme is “Innovate Today, Thrive Tomorrow”.
RBAirF OFFICER SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED AEROSYSTEMS SPECIALIST ENGINEER TRAINING (ASET) AND AIR SYSTEM MANAGERS TRAINING (ASMT) IN THE UNITED KINGDOM
ROYAL AIR FORCE COSFORD, UNITED KINGDOM, 16 May 2025 – Lieutenant (U) Mohammad Dziqry Dzakirin bin Awang Mohd. Johari from No. 5 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), has successfully completed Aerosystems Specialist Engineer Training (ASET) Course 23 and Air System Managers Training (ASMT) Course 22, conducted at Royal Air Force (RAF) Cosford in the United Kingdom.
RBAirF PRESENTS LETTERS OF CREDENCE TO OFFICERS OF INTAKE 21
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 16 May 2025 – With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Presentation of Watiqah or Letters of Credence to Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Officers graduates from the 21st Intake of Officer Cadet School, Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) was held with full ceremonial honours at Ruang Legar Rajawali, RBAirF Headquarters. This significant occasion symbolises the formal commissioning of officers who successfully completed their Officer Cadet School training.
RBAirF PERSONNEL DEPLOY FOR LONG RANGE NAVIGATION TO LANGKAWI, MALAYSIA
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 16 May 2025 – One Blackhawk S70i from the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) took off to participate in the 17th edition of Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace (LIMA) 25′ that will be held from 20 May 2025 until 24 May 2025 in Langkawi, Malaysia. A total of 11 personnel, including six aircrew from 11 Squadron, No. 1 Wing and 5 engineers from 51 Squadron, No. 5 Wing, will be involved in the deployment led by Captain (U) Mohammed Azhar bin Hj Mohd Mahathir.
CLOSING CEREMONY FOR FLM BASIC COURSE 02/2025, SEF INTERMEDIATE UPGRADING COURSE 7A/2025 AND GSE ADVANCE COURSE 01/2025.
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 16 May 2025 – The closing ceremony for the Flight Line Mechanic (FLM), Survival Equipment Fitter (SEF), and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) courses was held at 75 Squadron, No. 7 Wing, Training Group. A total of six participants completed the FLM course, seven participants in the SEF course and four in the GSE course.
