CLOSING CEREMONY FOR AIR DEFENCE RANGE MANAGEMENT COURSE 2024/2025.
PENANJONG GARRISON, Wednesday, 19 February 2025 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) continues to advance its operational proficiency with the successful completion of the Air Defence Range Management Course 2024/2025. Conducted by 77 Squadron, No. 7 Wing, Training Group, RBAirF, the course ran from 13 January to 19 February 2025 at the Field Firing Area, Binturan Range, Penanjong Garrison. A total of 11 RBAirF personnel, along with participants from the Officer Cadet School, Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (OCS DA RBAF), the Training Institute, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF), and the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF), successfully completed the training.
RBAirF APPOINTS NEW AIR FORCE SERGEANT MAJOR AND REGIMENTAL SERGEANT MAJOR OF TRAINING GROUP
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Monday, 17 February 2025 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) has officially appointed Warrant Officer 1 (U) Pg Redzaini bin Pg Haji Ahmad as the new Air Force Sergeant Major and Warrant Officer 2 (U) Mohamad Kamali bin Haji Kadir as the Regimental Sergeant Major of Training Group. The appointment ceremony was held today at Rajawali Lounge, RBAirF Headquarters, strengthening the leadership within the RBAirF’s enlisted ranks.

RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Sunday, 16 February 2025 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held a thanksgiving prayer ceremony in conjunction with His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office 51st Birthday Celebration was held at Surau Al-Barakah, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB).
ACHIEVEMENT OF INITIAL OPERATIONAL CAPABILITY BY 15 SQUADRON, RBAirF
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 14 February 2025 – Marking a significant milestone, the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) declares the 15 Squadron, No.1 Wing, Operations Group has attained Initial Operational Capability (IOC) for its C295MW aircrafts. This marks the squadron’s growing operational readiness to deploy aircrafts for core missions contributing to the RBAirF’s air mobility capabilities after the aircraft’s Introduction to Service on 14 February 2024.

RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 14 February 2025 – Colonel (U) Haszahaidi bin Haji Ahmad Daud, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), received a Courtesy Call via Video Teleconference (VTC) from Major-General Kelvin Fan, the Chief of Air Force of the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF), that marks their first official engagement reinforcing the strong and enduring relationship between Air Forces.
