“Always 100%”: 15 Squadron and 55 Squadron 27th Anniversary
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday 12 September 2024 - Established on 12 September 1997, 15 and 55 Squadron – formerly known as 5 Squadron – celebrates its 27th Anniversary with the new ‘reliable workhorse’ C295MW aircraft added into the squadron earlier this year.
RBAirF OFFICER CLINCHES GOLD AT 13TH MALAYSIA OPEN FENCING CHAMPIONSHIP
MALAYSIA, Wednesday, 11 September 2024 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) proudly congratulates Lieutenant (U) Hajah Anis Sabrina binti Hj Yahya, Staff Officer Grade 3 for A6 Communication and Information Systems (CIS), on her remarkable achievement at the 13th Malaysia Open Fencing Championship held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 07 to 09 September 2024. Competing in the women’s sabre event, Lieutenant (U) Hajah Anis secured the gold medal after a thrilling 15-14 victory over Nur Irdina Amani Imran of Malaysia, finishing first in a competitive field of 22 participants.

RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 11 September 2024 – Lieutenant Colonel (U) Mohammad Hairy Erwandy bin Haji Raya, Commander of the Operations Group, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), received a Courtesy Call from COL Lau Kai Heng Anthony, Commander of the Divisional Air Defence Group (DAG) of the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF). Accompanying COL Lau was LTC Sim Song Kai, the Assistant Defence Adviser of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam.

BALAI IBADAT KAMPONG MATA-MATA GADONG, Wednesday, 11 September 2024 – To commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and express gratitude and love for the Prophet as well as to seek blessings from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala, the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held a religious activity at Balai Ibadat Kampong Mata-Mata Gadong, Brunei and Muara district as part of the RBAF’s Masjid Angkat Unit Tentera Program in conjunction of Dikir Maulud 1446 Hijrah.
THE 9TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION OF NO. 4 WING, SUPPORT GROUP, RBAirF
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Monday, 09 September 2024 – No. 4 Wing of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) marks its 9th anniversary with a parade commemorating its transition from the Logistics Wing to an independent unit in 2015. The ceremony was held to celebrate the achievements and contributions of the personnel over the period of 2023-2024.

RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Monday, 09 September 2024 – No. 5 Wing, Support Group, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) celebrated its ninth anniversary, marking a significant milestone since its establishment as an independent wing in 2015. Formerly a part of the Logistics Wing, the dedicated personnel of No. 5 Wing now focus their efforts on enhancing the serviceability of aircraft, ensuring optimal operational readiness.
