BUKIT AGOK, TUTONG, Friday 28 October 2016 – Commander Spry bin Hj Serudi @Hj Seruji, Fleet Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) attended the closing ceremony of Base Defense Course 2016, held at Bukit Agok Firing Range.The ceremony began with a demonstration of the Exercise final attack followed by the presentation of certificates by the Guest of Honor. The closing of Base Defense Course 2016 was officially announced by the Guest of Honor, Commander Spry bin Hj Serudi @Hj Seruji and followed by do’a to bless the ceremony.
Four awards were given to acknowledge their hardwork and dedication towards this 6 weeks course: LS Yusmizan bin Awang Mohamad Yusra (Best Fitness), LS Ak Mohd Abd Aziz bin Pg Hj Iskandariah (Best Practical) and LS Edi-Jul Farizan bin Jefry (Best Theory and Best Student). Other than that, LCpl (U) Mohammad Hazmi bin Hj Abu Bakar is selected as the Best Instructor of this course.
The Base Defense Course, held from the 19 September to 28 October 2016, was participated by 27 personnel from Royal Brunei Navy and also 11 Officer Cadets of Intake 15 from Officer Cadet School, Defense Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces. The aim of this course is to teach the basic skills and knowledge of basic base defense in order to conduct primary task effectively and efficiently, and also to understand the responsibility of base defense as well as to further strengthen the military relations between two units of Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
This ceremony is also attended by Officers and key personnel from both Unit of Royal Brunei Air Force and Royal Brunei Navy.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS PERTAHANAN PANGKALAN SESI 2016
BUKIT AGOK, Tutong, Jumaat 28 Oktober 2016 – Kdr Spry bin Hj Serudi @Hj Seruji, Pemerintah Armada Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei menghadiri Majlis Penutup Kursus Pertahanan Pangkalan yang berlangsung di Padang Tembak Bukit Agok, Daerah Tutong.
Majlis dimulakan dengan pertunjukan serangan akhir Eksesais yang diikuti dengan penyampaian sijil kepada peserta kurus oleh tetamu kehormat Majlis. Penutupan Kursus Pertahanan Pangkalan sesi 2016 dirasmikan oleh tetamu kehormat majlis, Kdr Spry bin Hj Serudi @Hj Seruji dan seterusnya diakhiri dengan doa penutup majlis.
Empat peserta kursus telah menerima anugerah atas kerja keras dan dedikasi mereka sepanjang kursus ini: Latihan Jasmani Terbaik, LS Yusmizan bin Awang Mohamad Yusra; Amali Terbaik, LS Ak Mohd Abd Aziz bin Pg Hj Iskandariah; Teori Terbaik dan Peserta Kursus Terbaik, LS Edi-Jul Farizan bin Jefry. Selain daripada itu, Lkpl (U) Mohammad Hazmi bin Hj Abu Bakar dpilih sebagai Jurulatih Terbaik sepanjang kursus ini.
Kursus tersebut berlangsung daripada 19 September hingga 28 Oktober 2016, disertai oleh 27 anggota Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei dan 11 Pegawai Kadet, Sekolah Pegawai Kadet, Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei. Eksesais ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan menyerapkan tatacara perlaksanaan tugas serta tanggungjawab bagi konsep mempertahankan Pangkalan dan di samping itu juga merapatkan lagi hubungan di antara kedua unit Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei.
Majlis ini juga dihadiri oleh Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota dari kedua unit.
