UNITED KINGDOM, Tuesday, 07 June 2022 –
Lieutenant (U) Ahmad Abdurrahim bin Haji Jalbah has completed the Engineering Officer Foundation Training (Communication – Electronics) Course in a graduation ceremony held today, making him the second Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) officer to graduate from such a course.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Air Vice-Marshal (AVM) Neal-Hopes, Director Cyber, Intelligence and Information Integration (DCI3). Also present was Liuetenant Colonel (U) Mohammed Hairy Erwandy bin Raya, Defence Advisor of Brunei Darussalam to the United Kingdom. A certificate presentation to graduating students was ensued after a commencement speech by Wing Commander Helena Ramsden and later on by AVM Neal-Hopes.
The six month long course covered among others Defence CIS
(Communication Information Systems), airfield systems, navigational aids, safety and airworthiness; ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance), the principles of Space Power, Network and Security Management; Offensive and Defensive Cyber; and Information Management and Assurance and ending with a Final Confirmation Exercise (FCE).

Engineering Officer Foundation Training (Communication-Electronics) pada hari ini. Ini merupakan kali kedua bagi pegawai TUDB menghadiri kursus yang sama.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah
Air Vice-Marshall (AVM) Neal-Hopes, Pengarah
Cyber, Intelligence and Information Integration (DCI3). Turut hadir ialah Leftenan Kolonel (U) Mohammed Hairy Erwandy bin Raya, Penasihat Pertahanan Negara Brunei Darussalam di United Kingdom. Penyampaian sijil kepada peserta kursus berlangsung sejurus setelah ucapan daripada
Wing Commander Helena
Ramsden dan kemudiannya diteruskan dengan ucapan daripada
AVM Neal-Hopes.
Kursus selama enam bulan ini merangkumi antaranya adalah
Defence CIS (Communication Information System), sistem lapangan terbang, bantuan navigasi, keselamatan dan kelayakan udara;
ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance), prinsip kuasa angkasa, pengurusan rangkaian dan keselamatan; serangan siber dan pertahanan; pengurusan dan jaminan maklumat; dan diakhiri dengan Latihan Pengesahan Akhir (FCE).
