Rimba Air Force Base, Saturday, 31 July 2021 –
RBAirF participated in the Exercise Hikmat Bersatu VI (HB VI) 2021 which commenced from 26 July to 31 July 2021.
RBAirF’s involvement during the exercise was to provide the Assigned Force in assisting the mission of JFHQ RBAF which comprised of Air Assets for Flying Operation and Air Defence. In addition, RBAirF also tested out the existing Base Defence Plan. A total of 1436 RBAirF personnel were involved during this year’s exercise according to the required Military Alert and Readiness State (MARS).
The exercise gave RBAirF the opportunity to test out the current RBAirF Doctrine, the management of MARS as well as the proposed RBAirF establishment. On top of that, it was also aim to identify gaps and shortcomings on existing capabilities and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Exercise HB VI also provide a comprehensive training opportunity for the RBAF, set in the context of a contemporary scenario, to evaluate the tactical and operational levels of the RBAF in Joint Military Operations, along with reviewing units’ SOP. The exercise focused on scenarios centred on the military operation in tackling Non-Traditional Security threats which includes terrorism and illegal activities of organised crime.

TUDB TURUT BERSAMA MENJAYAKAN PERLAKSANAAN EKSESAIS HIKMAT BERSATU VI
Pangkalan Tentera Udara Rimba, Sabtu 31 Julai 2021 – TUDB turut bersama menjayakan pelaksanaan Eksesais Hikmat Bersatu VI (HB VI) bermula dari 26 Julai hingga 31 Julai 2021.
Penglibatan TUDB semasa eksesais ini adalah untuk menyediakan
Assigned Forces dalam membantu misi MAB ABDB yang melibatkan Aset Udara bagi Operasi Penerbangan dan Pertahanan Udara. Selain itu, TUDB juga mengujicuba Pelan Pertahanan Pangkalan yang sedia ada. Seramai 1436 anggota TUDB telibat di dalam eksesais ini mengikut keperluan Tahap Kewaspadaan dan Kesiapsediaan Tentera (MARS).
Eksesais ini memberikan peluang kepada TUDB untuk mengujicuba Doktrin TUDB yang terkini, pengurusan MARS serta cadangan siri perjawatan TUDB yang baru. Pada masa yang sama, ianya juga dapat mengenal pasti jurang dan kekurangan keupayaan dan Prosedur Tetap (SOP) yang ada.
Eksesais HB VI bertujuan untuk memberikan peluang latihan yang komprehensif kepada ABDB dalam senario kontemporari, menilai tahap taktikal dan operasional ABDB dalam Operasi Bersama dan mengkaji SOP Angkatan Tentera. Senario Eksesais HB VI ini memberi tumpuan terhadap operasi ketenteraan dalam menangani ancaman Keselamatan Bukan Tradisional seperti pengganasan dan aktiviti yang melanggar undang-undang negara.
