RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, MONDAY, 03 Jun 2019 – Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony to mark the completion of ‘Tedarus’ in the month of Ramadhan. The ceremony was held this morning at Surau Al-Barakah, Rimba Air Force Base. Guest of Honour at this function was the Commander of RBAirF, Yang Mulia Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat. Among other invited guests are Senior Officers, Officers and personnel of the RBAirF.
This year’s Khatam Al-Quran ceremony gathered a total of 34 Al-Quran readers from RBAirF who have been performing daily recitals of the Quran since the beginning of Ramadhan to grace the holy month. The event commenced after performing the mass Zohor prayer with a mass recitation of ‘surahs’ from the al-Quran, followed by a ‘Tahtim’ and Doa Khatam. Soon after the ‘Tahtim’, the Zikir Marhaban began accompanied with presentation of bunga telur to participants of the Khatam Al-Quran. This is an annual activity organised by the military personnel.
MAJLIS KHATAM AL-QURAN TENTERA UDARA DIRAJA BRUNEI SEMPENA BULAN RAMADHAN 1440H
PANGKALAN TENTERA UDARA RIMBA, ISNIN, 03 Jun 2019 – Majlis Khatam Al-Quran sempena Bulan Ramadhan 1440H telah diadakan di Surau Al-Barakah, Pangkalan Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB). Hadir pada acara tersebut ialah Yang Mulia Brigadier Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, Pemerintah TUDB, selaku Tetamu Kehormat. Turut hadir di majlis tersebut adalah Anggota-Anggota Awam, Pegawai-Pegawai Kanan, Pegawai-Pegawai, PTB-PTB Kanan dan PTB-PTB Rendah TUDB.
Seramai 34 peserta terdiri daripada anggota Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei telah pun mengikut acara khatam ini. Majlis berlangsung selepas Solat Fardhu Zohor dan kemudian diselajurkan dengan bacaan tadarus Al-Quran, bacaan Takhtim Al-Quran, Doa Khatam dan laungan Zikir Marhaban beramai-ramai. Majlis kemudian ditutup dengan bacaan Doa Peliharakan Sultan yang diketuai oleh Guru Ugama TUDB, Yang Mulia Ustaz Awg Said bin Haji Yusop.
