RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday, 21 September 2017 – Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held a celebration ceremony marking the Islamic New Year 1439 Hijrah, at Surau Al-Barakah, Rimba Air Force Base.The ceremony began with the recital of the Holy Quran Surah Al-Imran verse 190-195 by Corporal (U) Musa bin Hj Sahat. This was followed by zikir and end of the year 1438 Hijrah prayer, led by the Imam of Surau Al Barakah. Following the mass Maghrib prayer and Salatul Hajat, the Islamic New Year 1439 Hijrah prayer was read.
The event also included a special Hijrah religious talk which focused on the topic “Kepimpinan Adil Teras Kesejahteraan”, delivered by Sergeant Shaikh Sharul Azhar bin Shaikh Hj Ahmad, RBAF Religious Department. The ceremony then concluded with the mass Isya’ Prayer.
The ceremony was attended by Colonel (U) Mohd Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Deputy Commander of RBAirF, as the Guest of Honour together with military and civilian personnel of the RBAirF and residents of Kampung Rimba.
ROYAL BRUNEI AIR FORCE MERAIKAN SAMBUTAN TAHUN BARU 1439 HIJRAH
PANGKALAN TENTERA UDARA RIMBA, Khamis, 21 September 2017 – Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) telah mengadakan majlis bagimeraikan Tahun Baru Islam 1439 Hijrah di Surau Al-Barakah, Pangkalan Tentera Udara Rimba.
Upacara dimulakan dengan bacaan Al-Quran Surah Al-Imran ayat 190-195 oleh Korporal (U) Musa bin Hj Sahat. Ini diikuti dengan bacaan zikir dan doa akhir tahun 1438 Hijrah yang dipimpin oleh Imam Surah Al Barakah Ini kemudian disusuli dengan sembahyang Fardhu Maghrib dan Sunat Hajat berjemaah, dan doa awal tahun 1439 Hijrah.
Acara ini juga diselajurkan dengan ceramah keagamaan khas Hijrah bertajuk “Kepimpinan Adil Teras Kesejahteraan”, yang telah disampaikan oleh Sarjan Shaikh Sharul Azhar bin Shaikh Hj Ahmad,dari Jaamaat ABDB.. Majlis tersebut diakhiri dengan solat Fardhu Isya’ berjemaah.
Majlis tersebut telah dihadiri oleh Kolonel (U) Mohd Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Timbalan Komander TUDB, sebagai Tetamu Kehormat bersama anggota tentera dan awam TUDB serta penduduk Kampung Rimba.
