BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Friday, 06 January 2023 – A total of 5 course participants from No. 5 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) have completed their No. 51 Squadron Blackhawk S70i Airframe and Powerplant Introductory Course. The course was conducted for 14 weeks starting from 03 October 2022 until 06 January 2023.
The closing ceremony was held at No. 75 Squadron, No. 7 Wing, RBAirF. Present as the Guest of Honour was Major (U) Selawati binti Sabli, Engineering Officer, No. 51 Squadron, No. 5 Wing, RBAirF. Also present were Officer in Charge Course Design and Development/Continuous Training Advisory Team, Acting Sergeant Major No. 75 Squadron, course instructors and invited guests. The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and a speech delivered by a course representative. The ceremony then continued with a speech from the Guest of Honour followed by the certificate presentation to the course participants. The ceremony concluded with a closing doa.
The course aims to equip course participants with basic knowledge needed to maintain Blackhawk S70i (Airframe and Powerplant Trade). It exposes course participants to theory knowledge of aircraft publications, systems and principles of operation & maintenance procedures in order to maintain the aircraft correctly and safely. An Aircraft Familiarisation Environmental Test was also included for the final part of their assessment.

Jumaat, 06 Januari 2023 – Seramai 05 orang anggota Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) dari Cawangan No. 5 telah menamatkan Kursus Pengenalan
Blackhawk S70i Airframe and Powerplant yang berlangsung selama 14 minggu bermula dari 03 Oktober 2022 hingga 06 Januari 2023.
Majlis Penutup Kursus diadakan oleh Skuadron 75, Cawangan No. 7, TUDB. Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Mejar (U) Selawati binti Sabli, Pegawai Kejuruteraan, Skuadron 51, Cawangan No. 5. Turut hadir adalah Pegawai Penguasa Rekaan dan Perkembangan Kursus/Tim Penasihat dan Kesinambungan Latihan, jurulatih-jurulatih kursus dan para jemputan. Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah diikuti dengan ucapan dari wakil peserta kursus. Majlis diteruskan dengan ucapan dari Tetamu Kehormat dan penyampaian sijil kepada peserta-peserta kursus. Majlis diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Penutup.
Tujuan kursus ini diadakan adalah untuk melengkapkan peserta kursus dengan pengetahuan asas yang diperlukan dalam menyelenggara pesawat
Blackhawk S70i (Airframe and Powerplant Trade). Kursus ini mendedahkan peserta-peserta kursus kepada pengetahuan teori, penerbitan pesawat, sistem dan Prinsip Operasi & Prosedur Penyelenggaraan bagi penyelengaraan yang betul dan selamat. Peserta-peserta kursus telah menduduki
Aircraft Familiarisation Environmental Test sebagai salah satu penilaian akhir bagi kursus ini.
