RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 03 August 2022 – Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) received a visit from 16 participants of the 12th Brunei-Singapore Defence Scholars Development Programme 2022 (12th BSDSDP 2022) with this year’s theme “Military Orientation” along with 09 staffs at the Air Movement Centre, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB).
The itinerary for this afternoon visit was to cater to this year’s theme and objectives, which is Military Orientation and provide the opportunity to give exposure to the RBAirF. The absolute familiarisation of the RBAirF began with a Helicopter trip from RBN, Muara to Rimba AFB using 02x Sikorsky Blackhawk S70i. Once they arrived, the delegation was welcomed with opening remarks by Lieutenant Colonel (U) Zulkhairin bin Haji Ibrahim at the Air Movement Centre briefing room. The first Presentation covered the “Overview of RBAirF” delivered by Major (U) Mohammad Azmi bin Haji Afflon/Affalan, and the second Presentation by Lieutenant Colonel (U) Hasnul Alwe bin Haji Metassan with the topic “Future of the Air Forces – Prospects and Challenges”.

PANGKALAN TENTERA UDARA RIMBA, Rabu, 03 Ogos 2022 – Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) menerima kunjungan seramai 16 peserta
12th Brunei-Singapore Defence Scholars Development Programme 2022 (12th BSDSDP 2022) dengan tema tahun ini “Orientasi Ketenteraan” bersama 09 kakitangan di Pusat Pergerakan Udara, Pangkalan Tentera Udara Rimba (PTU Rimba).
Jadual lawatan petang ini adalah untuk memenuhi tema dan objektif tahun ini, iaitu Orientasi Ketenteraan dan memberi peluang untuk memberi pendedahan kepada TUDB. Pengenalan mutlak TUDB bermula dengan perjalanan menggunakan Helikopter dari TLDB Muara ke PTU Rimba menggunakan 02 buah Sikorsky Blackhawk S70i. Sebaik rombongan tiba, rombongan disambut dengan ucapan perasmian oleh Leftenan Kolonel (U) Zulkhairin bin Haji Ibrahim di bilik taklimat Pusat Pergerakan Udara. Pembentangan pertama merangkumi “Overview of RBAirF ” yang disampaikan oleh Mejar (U) Mohammad Azmi bin Haji Afflon/Affalan, dan Pembentangan kedua oleh Leftenan Kolonel (U) Hasnul Alwe bin Haji Metassan dengan topik “Future of the Air Forces – Prospects and Challenges “.
