Berakas Garrison, Tuesday, 29 March 2022 – The closing ceremony and the badge presentation for the Air Defence Troop Commander Course, the Detachment Commander Course and the Air Defence Intermediate Course was held on Tuesday, 29 March 2022 at the 238 Squadron Hangar, Berakas Garrison. The event was conducted by 77 Squadron, No. 7 Wing and present as the Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Colonel (U) Hishamuddin bin Abidin, Acting Deputy Commander of Air Force. The event was also attended by the Commanding Officer of No. 2 Wing, Officer Commanding of 77 Squadron and all the Air Defence Instructors.
The event started with the recital of the Surah Al-Fatihah which was read by 17675 SSgt (U) Saiful Herwandi and was followed by the closing speech by the Guest of Honour.
The courses was conducted for 7 weeks, which included subjects such as Air Defence Knowledge, Command Post, Intelligence Preparation of the Battlespace (IPB) and Law of Armed Conflict. Additionally, for the Detachment Commander Course and the Intermediate Course, the participants were exposed on the subject of Mistral Tactical Control.
By attending this course, the participants were able to start and expand their knowledge in the field of Air Defence in line with the Career Development Structure in RBAF.
MAJLIS PENYAMPAIAN LENCANA DAN SIJIL PENUTUP KURSUS KETUA TERUP, KETUA DETASMEN DAN PRA-LANJUTAN PERTAHANAN UDARA SESI 2021/2022
Berakas Garison, Selasa, 29 Mac 2022 – Upacara Penyampaian Lencana dan Sijil-Sijil Penutup Kursus Ketua Terup, Ketua Detasmen dan Pra-Lanjutan Pertahanan Udara telah dikendalikan pada hari Selasa, 29 Mac 2022 bertempat di Hangar Skuadron 238, Cawangan No. 2, Berakas Garison. Seramai 27 anggota Cawangan No. 2 telahpun berjaya menamatkan kursus yang dikendalikan oleh Skuadron 77, Cawangan No. 7 TUDB. Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat Majlis adalah Leftenan Kolonel (U) Hishamuddin bin Abidin, Pemangku Timbalan Pemerintah Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei.Turut hadir adalah Pegawai Pemerintah Cawangan No. 2, Pegawai Memerintah Skuadron 77 dan Jurulatih-Jurulatih Pertahanan Udara.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah yang dibaca oleh 17675 SSjn (U) Saiful Herwandi dan diteruskan dengan Ucapan Rasmi Penutup Kursus Ketua Terup, Ketua Detasmen dan Pra-Lanjutan Pertahanan Udara Sesi 2021/2022.
Kursus Ketua Terup, Ketua Detasmen dan Pra-Lanjutan Pertahanan Udara Sesi 2021 ini telahpun berjalan selama 7 minggu. Peserta Kursus Ketua Terup telah didedahkan mengenai dengan pelajaran Pengetahuan Pertahanan Udara, Command Post, Intelligence Preparation of the Battlespace (IPB), Map Marking, Rules of Engagement, Law of Armed Conflict serta BAB 149 Undang-undang di dalam ABDB. Peserta Kursus Ketua Detasmen dan Pra-Lanjutan Pertahanan Udara pula telah didedahkan mengenai dengan pelajaran Kawalan Taktikal Mistral.
Dengan menghadiri kursus ini, anggota-anggota juga dapat melengkapkan perjalanan kerjaya mereka sebagai ahli Pertahanan Udara yang efisyien dan kompenten sejajar dengan Struktur Perkembangan Kerjaya di dalam ABDB.
