RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 17 November 2023 – The Closing Ceremony for the Fire Warden & Occupational Health Safety 01/2023 was conducted by Fire Service Flight, No. 3 Wing and Inspectorate Unit, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) at the Fire Station, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB). The course was conducted from 13 to 17 November 2023, and a total of 24 personnel from different Wing and Squadron participated in the course.
The aim of the course is to educate personnel on fire safety and emergency procedures, empowering them to effectively respond to and manage fire incidents in the workplace. Participants typically learn about evacuation protocols, and the proper use of firefighting equipment to ensure a safe and coordinated response in case of a fire. Furthermore, it is to provide an understanding of how to identify hazard and create incident report using the Hazard Observation Card (HOC).
Present at the event as the Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Colonel (U) Hajah Suriani binti Haji Junaidi, Head Inspectorate Unit, RBAirF. The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by a speech from the Guest of Honour. Also present were the Occupational Health Safety (OHS) Officer from the respective Wings.
The ceremony later proceeded with the presentation of certificates to the course participants. The ceremony concluded with the recital of Closing Prayers and a group photo session.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS BAGI KURSUS FIRE WARDEN & KESIHATAN KESELAMATAN KERJA SIRI 01/2023
PANGKALAN TENTERA UDARA RIMBA, Juma’at, 17 November 2023 – Majlis Penutup Kursus bagi Kursus Fire Warden Siri 1/2023 yang dikendalikan oleh Skuadron Perkhidmatan Bomba, Cawangan No. 3 bersama dengan Unit Inspektorat, Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) telah dilaksanakan di Balai Bomba, Rimba Ground. Kursus tersebut telah dikendalikan mulai 13 hingga 17 November 2023. Seramai 24 anggota telah menyertai kursus yang merangkumi anggota dari semua cawangan TUDB.
Matlamat kursus tersebut adalah untuk mendidik anggota tentang aspek keselamatan kebakaran serta melaksanakan dengan betul tatacara menangani kecemasan api di tempat kerja. Peserta juga diberi tunjuk ajar mengenai protokol evakuasi, serta tatacara penggunaan peralatan pencegah kebakaran yang betul dan selamat jika berlakunya kebakaran. Selain itu, kursus tersebut juga memberi penerangan mengenai dengan cara-cara untuk mengenalpasti bahaya serta tatacara membuat laporan dengan menggunakan Kad Pemerhatian Bahaya (HOC).
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat pada majlis tersebut adalah Leftenan Kolonel (U) Hajah Suriani binti Haji Junaidi, Ketua Unit Inspektorat, TUDB. Majlis tersebut dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan diikuti oleh ucapan dari Tetamu Kehormat. Turut hadir pada majlis tersebut adalah Pegawai Keselamatan Kesihatan Kerja (KKK) dari Cawangan TUDB.
Majlis seterusnya diikuti oleh penyampaian sijil kepada peserta-peserta kursus. Acara tersebut ditutup dengan bacaan Doa Penutup dan sesi bergambar ramai.
