PANGKALAN TENTERA UDARA RIMBA, Jumaat, 08 December 2023 – Majlis Penyampaian Sijil dan Lencana bagi Kursus Pos Perintah Sesi 2023/2024, Kursus Jurulatih Pertahanan Udara Sesi 2023/2024, Jurulatih Pertahanan Pangkalan Sesi 2023/2024 dan Kursus Asas Pertahanan Pangkalan Siri 1 2023/2024 telah dikendalikan pada hari Jumaat, 08 Disember 2023 bertempat di Dewan Punai, Pangkalan Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB), Rimba. Seramai 51 anggota dari Cawangan No. 2, Kumpulan Gerakan dan juga dari Cawangan No. 5, Kumpulan Bantu telah menghadiri kursus. Hadir di majlis tersebut selaku Tetamu Kehormat adalah Kolonel (U) Haji Mohammad Albadii Shahnoel bin Haji Mohammad Noeh, Pemangku Timbalan Pemerintah TUDB, pegawai-pegawai dan juga jemputan-jemputan.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan diteruskan dengan ucapan daripada Tetamu Kehormat Majlis. Majlis seterusnya diteruskan dengan penyampaian lencana dan sijil kepada peserta-peserta kursus dan juga penyampaian hadiah bagi Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan, Teori dan Amali.
Kursus-kursus tersebut bertujuan untuk memastikan kesinambungan operasi Pertahanan Udara dan juga Pertahanan Pangkalan TUDB. Ianya juga bertujuan untuk memastikan tahap individu anggota-anggota Pertahanan Udara dan Pertahanan Pangkalan di semua peringkat termasuk jurulatih, ahli pos perintah dan terup adalah di tahap yang tinggi.
Disepanjang kursus-kursus tersebut pelbagai pengetahuan dan kemahiran mengenai asas operasi termasuk teori, mekanisme dan juga perancangan telah diajar. Disamping itu juga, peserta-peserta kursus juga dapat memanfaatkan pelajaran-pelajaran dari
Subject Matter Experts dari unit-unit lain Kementerian Pertahanan dan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei termasuk Cawangan Latihan Perisikan, Jabatanarah Perisikan dan juga dari
Judge Advocate General (JAG) Office. Fasa terakhir kursus-kursus tersebut merupakan fasa latihan medan iaitu Eksesais Perisai Waja 2023.
BADGE AND CERTIFICATE PRESENTATION CEREMONY FOR 77 SQUADRON, NO. 7 WING COURSES SESSION 2023/2024
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 08 December 2023 – The Badge and Certificate Ceremony for the Command Post Course Session 2023/2024, Air Defence Instructor Session 2023/2024, Base Defence Instructor Session 2023/2024 and the Basic Base Defence Serial 1 Session 2023/2024 was held on Friday, 08 December 2023 at the Punai Hall, Royal Brunei Air Force Base, Rimba. A total of 51 personnel from No. 2 Wing, Operations Group and No. 5 Wing, Support Group, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) attended the courses. Present at the event was the Guest of Honour, Colonel (U) Haji Mohammad Albadii Shahnoel bin Haji Mohammad Noeh, Acting Deputy Commander of RBAirF as well as invited officers and guests.
The ceremony began with the recital of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by a speech from the Guest of Honour. This was followed by the presentation of badges and certificates to the course participants and the awards presentation to the Best Overall, Theory and Practical award recipients.
The course aims to ensure continuity for the operational needs of Air Defence and Base Defence of the RBAirF. It is also aimed at ensuring the required level of individual competency of air and base defenders in all ranks and posts including instructors, command post personnel as well as troopers.
Throughout the courses, the participants were taught the necessary knowledge and skills with regards to the fundamentals of air and base defence including background theory, mechanisms and planning as well as the roles and responsibilities during peacetime and operations. Additionally, the course participants were also able to benefit from lessons conducted by other Subject Matter Experts within the Ministry of Defence and Royal Brunei Armed Forces which included the Intelligence Training Wing, Directorate of Intelligence and the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Office. The final phase of the courses was the conduct of a combined field exercise, Exercise Perisai Waja 2023.
