PROMOTION CEREMONY FOR SENIOR NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS 2/2023 ROYAL BRUNEI AIR FORCE
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday 27 October 2023– A promotion ceremony for 11 Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) comprising of four acting Warrant Officer One (WO1) and seven acting Warrant Officers Two (WO2) took place at Dewan Punai, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB). Present as the Guest of Honour was Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, the Commander of RBAirF. Also present for the ceremony were the RBAirF Board of Executives members, Senior Officers, Officers, Senior NCOs and family members of the promoted personnel.
11TH BASIC AIRBORNE STATIC LINE COURSE
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday, 26 October 2023 – 15 Personnel from Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) completed the 11th Basic Airborne Static Line Course conducted by 31 Squadron, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held from 02 to 26 October 2023. The closing ceremony was attended by the Guest of Honour, Colonel (U) Haji Mohammad Albadii Shahnoel bin Haji Mohammad Noeh, Chief of Staff, RBAirF along with other officers from RBAirF and SFR at the RBAirF Drop Zone.
RBAIRF COMMANDER RECEIVES WORKING CALL FROM COMMANDER SURVEILLANCE AND RESPONSE GROUP, ROYAL AUSTRALIAN AIR FORCE
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 25 October 2023 - Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), received a working call from Air Commodore Nathan Christie, Commander Surveillance and Response Group, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). Accompanying were Wing Commander Matthew Charles Xerri, the Defence Adviser of Australia to Brunei Darussalam and pilot of the P-8A Poseidon, RAAF. Also in attendance were Acting Deputy Commander of RBAirF, Assistance Chief of Staff Intelligence and Security and Assistance Chief of Staff Operations.
RBAirF OFFICER PARTICIPATES IN ASEAN DEFENCE MINISTERS’ MEETING-PLUS EXPERTS’ WORKING GROUP ON HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE AND DISASTER RELIEF (ADMM-PLUS EWG ON HADR) TABLE TOP EXERCISE (TTX) AND FIELD TRAINING EXERCISE (FTX)
INDONESIA, Friday 20 October 2023 – The ADMM-PLUS EWG on HADR Table Top Exercise (TTX) and Field Training Exercise (FTX), co-chaired by Indonesia and India, was held from 15 until 20 October 2023 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The exercises were participated by representatives from 18 ADMM-Plus member states, the ASEAN Secretariat and the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on Disaster Management (AHA). Joining the Table Top Exercise (TTX) was Major (U) Pengiran Mohamad Ezul Hazrin bin Pengiran Haji Zohaini, Assistant Chief of Staff, A4, RBAirF Headquarters.
RBAirF HELD OFFICERS’ REGIMENTAL DINNER
BERAKAS GARRISON, Saturday, 21 October 2023 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held a Regimental Dinner at the Officers’ Mess, Berakas Garrison for Brigadier General (Retired) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Alirupendi bin Haji Perudin, former Joint Force RBAF Commander and spouse, Datin Hajah Azizah binti Haji Miramit. Present as Guest of Honor was Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohd Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, RBAirF Commander and spouse, Datin Noraidah binti Haji Ibrahim.
COURSE CLOSING AND CERTIFICATE PRESENTATION CEREMONY FOR THE CLASS 5 DRIVING COURSE SESSION 2023/2024
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 20 October 2023 - The course closing and certificate presentation ceremony for the Class 5 Driving Course Session 2023/2024 was held on Friday, 20 October 2023 at the Punai Hall, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB). A total of 13 personnel from No. 2 Wing, No. 5 Wing, and No. 7 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) attended the course which was conducted over a period of 5 weeks. Present at the event as the Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Colonel (U) Pengiran Mohammad Zulhusmi bin Pengiran Mohammad Roslan, Commanding Officer of No. 7 Wing, RBAirF as well as other officers and invited guests.
