ROYAL BRUNEI AIR FORCE CELEBRATES ITS 57TH ANNIVERSARY
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Saturday, 24 June 2023 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) commemorated its 57th anniversary with a Parade Ceremony led by Major (U) Haji Mohammad Azmi bin Haji Afflon/Affalan at the Sports Complex, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB).
THANKSGIVING CEREMONY TO COMMEMORATE RBAirF 57th ANNIVERSARY
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 23 June 2023 – In conjunction with Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) 57th Anniversary, RBAirF held a Thanksgiving Ceremony to commemorate the event at Surau Al-Barakah, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB).
COUNTER SMALL UNMANNED AERIAL SYSTEM (C-sUAS) SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT EXCHANGE WITH PACIFIC INTEGRATED AIR AND MISSILE DEFENCE CENTER (PIC)
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 23 June 2023 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) participates in the Subject Matter Expert Exchange (SMEE) series with the Pacific Integrated Air and Missile Defence Center (PIC) on Counter Small-Unmanned Vehicles via video teleconference (VTC) held by the United States of Pacific Air Force (US PACAF). Participating in the SMEE from RBAirF was Lieutenant Colonel (U) Amierul Halpi bin Talip, the Commanding Officer of No. 2 Wing, Operations Group, RBAirF. Also participating in the session were officers from No. 2 Wing, the Airspace Control/Early Warning Squadron, No. 3 Wing, and the 39 Squadron, No. 3 Wing.
SPORTS INTERACTION BETWEEN 15 SQUADRON & 55 SQUADRON, RBAirF WITH US NAVY P-8 AIRCRAFT CREW
BERAKAS, Friday, 23 June 2023 – A Sports Interaction program was held between 15 Squadron, No. 1 Wing and 55 Squadron, No. 5 Wing of Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) and the US Navy P-8 Aircraft Crew. Present for the event was Lieutenant Colonel (U) Walee bin Haji Roslie, the Commanding Officer of No. 1 Wing, and Commander Patrick Reilly, the Executive Officer of VP-16 of the visiting US Navy P-8 Aircraft Crew.
SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT EXCHANGE ON NIGHT SAR STRENGTHENS COLLABORATION BETWEEN ROYAL BRUNEI AIR FORCE AND ROYAL THAI AIR FORCE
THAILAND, Friday, 16 June 2023 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) and the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) have successfully concluded a Subject Matter Expert Exchange on Night Search and Rescue (SMEE Night SAR), fostering closer cooperation and enhancing operational capabilities between the two air forces. The exchange took place from 12 to 16 June at the Lopburi Airbase and involved intensive training sessions, knowledge sharing, and practical exercises. Leading The RBAirF delegation was Captain (U) Azhar @ Reamy bin Haji Jumat, Staff Officer 2 Aviation Safety.
FINAL PLANNING CONFERENCE EXERCISE PACANGEL 23-3
Rimba Air Force Base, Monday, 19 June 2023 – The Final Planning Conference (FPC) for Exercise PACANGEL has successfully concluded at the Air Movement Centre, Rimba Air Base. The FPC was held from 12th to 19th June 2023 between the United States Pacific Air Forces (US PACAF) and the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF).
