RBAirF RECEIVES OFFICE CALL FROM PHILIPPINES AIR FORCE
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Monday, 29 May 2023 – Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) received an Office Call from Philippines Air Force (PAF). Representing Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Commander of RBAirF was Lieutenant Colonel (U) Haji Mohammad Albadii Shahnoel bin Haji Mohamad Noeh, Chief of Staff of RBAirF. Representing the PAF was Colonel Joseph Archog, Deputy Wing Commander, 220th Airlift Squadron. Accompanying the PAF representatives was Colonel Angelo P. Ariles, Defense and Armed Forces Attaché Republic of Philippines to Brunei Darussalam.
LANGKAWI INTERNATIONAL MARITIME AND AEROSPACE (LIMA) EXHIBITION 2023
LANGKAWI, MALAYSIA, Monday, 22 May 2023
– Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato
Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF)
attended the 16th Edition of the Langkawi International Maritime and
Aerospace (LIMA) Exhibition that took place from 23 to 27 May 2023, at
the Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre (MIEC) in Langkawi,
Malaysia. This biennial event was one of the largest aerospace
exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific and was officially launched by both the
Defence and Transport Ministers of Malaysia. The theme for this year’s
exhibition is “The Nexus of Asia’s Maritime and Aerospace Trade”.
FIFTEEN RBAirF PERSONNEL ATTENDS AVIATION PHYSIOLOGY TRAINING (APT) IN THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE
REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Saturday, 20 May 2023 – The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) conducted the Aviation Physiology Training
(APT) Course from 14 to 19 May 2023. The course was held at the RSAF
Aeromedical Centre in Paya Lebar, Republic of Singapore. A total of 15
personnel from the Royal Brunei Air Force participated in the course,
including 05 operational pilots, 01 student pilot, and 09 crewmen.
OPENING CEREMONY MANDATORY INTERVENTION COUNSELING PROGRAMME (PIKM) FOR RBAirF PERSONNEL
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday, 19 May 2023
– No. 2 Wing, Operations Group, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF)
organized Mandatory Intervention Counseling Programme which was held at
the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) PRIHATIN Centre, Bolkiah Garrison.
This program is assisted by RBAirF Welfare Unit with collaboration from
RBAF Pusat PRIHATIN officially commenced on 19 May 2023 and will
conclude on 14 July 2023.
TWO RBAirF OFFICERS DEPART FOR AIR WARFARE OFFICER (AWO) GROUND BASED AIR DEFENCE (GBAD) RBS-70 COURSE IN THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE

– Two Air Defence Officers from Royal Brunei Air Force will undergo Air
Warfare Officer Ground Based Air Defence (AWO GBAD) RBS-70 course in
the Republic of Singapore beginning 22 May 2023. Attending the course
are Captain (U) Pengiran Muddaththir Zaki bin Pengiran Haji Baharuddin,
Training Officer Recruit Company from Training Institute Royal Brunei
Armed Forces (TI RBAF) and Captain (U) Muhammad Shah Redzuan bin Haji
Mat Serudin, Troop Commander 233 Squadron, No. 2 Wing, Operations Group,
RBAirF.
CLOSING CEREMONY FOR BASIC SURVIVAL EQUIPMENT FITTER INTAKE 6/2023 NO. 01

– The closing ceremony for the Basic Survival Equipment Fitter Intake
6/2023 was conducted by 75 Squadron, No. 7 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force
(RBAirF). The course was held for 12 weeks starting from 27 February
2023 until 19 May 2023, with a total of 9 course participants from No. 5
Wing.
