RBAirF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS ATTEND 17TH EXECUTIVE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Tuesday, 13 September 2022 - Five Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) executive officers are attending the 17th Executive Development Programme (EDP) for Senior Government Officials on Public Policy and Management through the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies (SHHBIDSS), Ministry of Defence.
RBAirF COMMANDER RECEIVES INTRODUCTORY CALL FROM THE DEFENCE ADVISER OF NIGERIA
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Tuesday, 13 September 2022 – Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Commander of Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) received an Introductory Call from the Nigerian Defence Adviser accredited to Negara Brunei Darussalam, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame. Air Commodore Ejodame is based in Malaysia.
RBAirF HOLDS ITS FIRST STEERING COMMITTEE ANNUAL MEETING 2022
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Monday, 12 September 2022 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) hosted its first annual steering committee meeting between the RBAirF and the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) at Bubut Room, RBAirF HQ. It was hosted and chaired by Yang Mulia Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, the Commander of RBAirF, together with the Board of Executive members and working group members from RBAirF. Present from DCA was Yang Mulia Haji Mohamad Azlan bin Haji Mohammad Junaidi, Acting Director of DCA and also other members of the DCA board members.
52 SQUADRON RBAirF AIRCRAFT TECHNICIAN CAPTAINS NATIONAL NETBALL TEAM
THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Monday, 12 September 2022 – The National Netball Team participated in the 2022 Asian Netball Championships, where Her Royal Highness Princess Fadzilah Lubabul Bolkiah binti Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mui’zzaddin Waddaulah is a team member. Captain of the national team was one of the Royal Brunei Air Force’s (RBAirF) aircraft technician, Private (U) Siti Marhayati binti Ahmad. The championship that was held in the Republic of Singapore commenced from 03 September to 11 September 2022. Brunei Darussalam was amongst the 11 nations who partook in the international championship.
25TH ANNIVERSARY OF 15 SQUADRON AND 55 SQUADRON OF RBAirF
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Monday, 12 September 2022 – 15 Squadron and 55 Squadron, Royal BruneI Air Force (RBAirF), formerly known as 5 Squadron, today celebrated their 25th anniversary. To mark the special occasion, the squadrons attempted to duplicate the 10th year anniversary photo of the Squadron personnel with the CN235-110M which was taken back in 2007. The squadron commander at the time is now the current commander of RBAirF, Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim.
MULTI ENGINE FIXED WING FLIGHT TRAINING COURSE COMPLETION
CAMDEN, AUSTRALIA, Sunday, 11 September 2022 – Two Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) student pilots successfully completed their Multi Engine Fixed Wing Flight Training Course at Air Combat Australia (ACA), Camden, Australia. Lieutenant (U) Pengiran Aminor Fikhri bin Pengiran Amir Hamzah and Lieutenant (U) Muhammad Najib Naqiuddin bin Haji Idris flew their last sorties of the course on Wednesday, 07 September 2022.
