DRONE AND DRONE JAMMER TRAINING FOR SELECTION OF NEW DRONE AND DRONE JAMMER OPERATORS FOR 233 SQUADRON
Bukit Agok, Wednesday, 23 March 2022 – 233 Squadron, No.2 Wing of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held a drone and drone jammer training from 23 March 2022 to 25 March 2022 for the first time. The training was for the selection of new drone and drone jammer operators who are qualified to operate the system. Selection of candidates consisted of a total of 9 Senior Ranks holding the position of Detachment Commander from 238 Squadron.
STUDY VISIT FROM COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE (CSC) 12/2022 TO RBAirF
Rimba Air Force Base, Monday, 21 March 2022 – The RBAF Command and Staff Course (CSC) 12/2022 conducted a study visit to the RBAirF today. The delegation was led by Lieutenant Colonel Mohd Sallehudin bin Dato Paduka Hj Puasa, Senior Directing Staff. The delegation also consisted of 40 local officers from the RBAF, the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF), the Internal Security Department and international students. Their arrival was welcomed by the Assistant Chief of Staff, RBAirF Headquarters, Lieutenant Colonel (U) Zulkhairin bin Hj Ibrahim.
BASIC CLERK COURSE 02/2021 CLOSING CEREMONY
Rimba Air Force Base, Friday, 18 March 2022 - The closing ceremony of the Basic Clerk Course 02/2021 was held today at Dewan Punai, Rimba AFB. 12 RBAirF personnel have completed the course which was conducted by No. 7 Wing RBAF. Present as the Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Colonel (U) Pg Mohd Zulhusmi bin Pg Mohd Roslan, Commanding Officer of No.7 Wing. Also present were Acting Training Officer of No.7 Wing, Chief Clerks of RBAirF and Chief Clerk and Instructors from the Evolution Centre RBAF Training Institute.
COMMANDER OPERATIONS GROUP WORKING VISIT TO NO. 2 WING
Rimba Air Force Base, Wednesday, 16 March 2022 –
Lieutenant Colonel (U) Hishamuddin bin Abidin, the Commander Operations
Group made a working visit to No. 2 Wing today. The objective for the
visit is to get a closer look on the current operation and readiness as
well as the welfare of No. 2 Wing personnel.
APPRECIATION AND FAREWELL CEREMONY FOR FORMER HEAD OF BAKTI

– The Wives Association of Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF BAKTI) held
an appreciation and farewell celebration for the former Head of BAKTI
RBAF, Yang Mulia Datin Dr Hjh Anita Binurul Zahrina binti Pehin Orang Kaya
Laila Wijaya Dato Seri Setia Hj Abdul Aziz, wife of former Commander of
the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Major General (Ret) Dato Seri
Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, at the Emperor’s Court Restaurant
in Manggis Mall. Also present were the BAKTI heads and members of BAKTI
RBAirF from Bolkiah Garrison, Training Institute and RBAirF itself.
NO.1 WING RBAirF CONDUCTED CLEANING CAMPAIGN IN CONJUNCTION WITH RBAF DIAMOND JUBILEE
Bandar Seri Begawan, Thursday, 10 March 2022
– In conjunction with RBAF Diamond Jubilee, another charity activity
has been conducted this afternoon. No.1 Wing of the RBAirF gathered to
clean the areas of Datu Penghulu cemetery. Present to lead the campaign
was the Administrative Officer, Lt (U) Dk Norhidayatul Amirah binti Pg
Liudin. Also present were the Wing Sergeant Major and personnel of No.1
Wing.
