Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato
Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF)
received an introductory call from Colonel Angelo Gerard P. Ariles, the
new Defense and Armed Forces Attache of the Republic of the Philippines
to Brunei Darussalam this morning. Also in attendance was the Chief of
Staff and Staff Officer Grade 3 Intelligence, RBAirF.
AVIATION RESCUE FIRE FIGHTING (ARFF) EXERCISE
Rimba Air Base, Wednesday, 27 January 2021
– Fire Service Flight of No. 3 Wing, has successfully conducted its
first Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting Exercise for three consecutive days
from 26 – 28 January 2021. Present to witness the exercise was Lt Col
(U) Haji Mohd Rahimin bin Haji Ismail, the Commanding Officer of No. 3
Wing.
OPENING CEREMONY OF PERISAI BERSATU EXERCISE OF NO. 2 WING, OPERATION GROUP, RBAIRF
Berakas Garrison, Monday, 25 January 2021 – The Opening Ceremony of PERISAI BERSATU Exercise was held on 25th
January 2021, at 238 Squadron Helipad, No. 2 Wing, Operation Group,
Berakas Garisson. The opening ceremony was officially launched by
Commander Operation Group, Colonel (U) Hismawadi bin Hj Mohamad Said.
PERISAI BERSATU Exercise which lasted for 5 days, will commence from 25
January 2021 until 29 January 2021.
PERISAI BERSATU EXERCISE 2021
Berakas Garrison, Monday, 25 January 2021 – No. 2 Wing, Operations Group, RBAIRF held Perisai Bersatu Exercise which lasted for 5 days, starting from 25th January until 29th
January 2021. The exercise is a continuation of Table Top Exercise
(TTX) and Command Post Exercise (CPX) Perisai Bersatu 2021 which also
held in the same month. The concept of the exercise is a
non-conventional, based on the scenario of the Association of South East
Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit Conference.
RBAIRF WELCOMES NEW PERSONNEL FROM INTAKE 166, TRAINING INSTITUTE, RBAF.

new Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) personnel from Intake 166, Recruit
Company, Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), have
completed their 6 weeks Induction Programme which started from 7
December 2020 until 22 January 2021 under the supervision of No. 7 Wing.
The Induction Programme started with welcoming remarks from 11898 WO1
(U) Mohamad Hamdris bin Haji Taha@Tuah, 2IC of the Induction Programme.
JUNGLE RESCUE TEAM CONDUCTED EXERCISE MENYELAMAT WIRA ANGKASA
Rimba Air Base, Friday, 22 January 2021 – No. 31 Squadron (PATDU), No. 3 Wing, Operations Group, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) conducted a Jungle Search and Rescue (SAR) exercise for the
Exercise Menyelamat Wira Angkasa at Rimba Air Base. The
exercise was conducted in particular for the Jungle Rescue Team (JRT) as
its objectives are to asses and identify gaps in the JRT Standard
Operating Procedures and its execution for enhancing their current
capability.
