COMPLETION OF THE FIRST C295MW PILOT CONVERSION COURSE IN RBAirF
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 21 February 2025 – Four pilots have successfully completed their C295MW conversion course at 15 Squadron, 1 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF). Lieutenant (U) Pg Aminor Fikhri bin Pg Amir Hamzah, Lieutenant (U) Muhd Najib Naqiuddin bin Haji Idris, Lieutenant (U) Awang Muhammad Syarafur Rahman bin Awang Haji Ya’akub, and Lieutenant (U) Abd Qayum Ar’rasyid bin Zaidi flew their final sorties last week, concluding the first conversion course for the C295MW platform.
RBAirF STUDENT PILOT COURSE 60 BASIC AND INTERMEDIATE FIXED WING PILOT TRAINING COURSE COMPLETION

The event gathered military officials, industry leaders, and defence technology experts to discuss the latest advancements in UAV technology, with a focus on intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted surveillance, long-range precision strikes, and next-generation UAV sensors and communication architectures.
