BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday, 16 February, 2024 – The Royal Brunei Air Force Wives Welfare Association (RBAirF BAKTI) conducted a visit to the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) PRIHATIN Centre, Bolkiah Garrison. This introductory visit is aimed at understanding the main functions and services that the RBAF PRIHATIN Centre offers to personnel, spouses and family members of RBAF.
A delegation of 16 wives was in attendance, led by the spouse of the RBAirF Commander, Datin Noraidah binti Haji Ibrahim, as the Head of RBAirF BAKTI. Also present were spouses of RBAirF Board of Executives members and spouses of RBAirF Commanding Officers.
The officers of the RBAF PRIHATIN Centre warmly received the delegation. The visit commenced with a welcoming speech by Captain Siti Hafizah binti Abdul Khalid, Head of Counselling Cell, RBAF PRIHATIN Centre, followed by a briefing about the centre. The delegation was also introduced to counselling activities organised by the RBAF PRIHATIN Centre, known as the Explorasi Motivasi Kendiri (EMK). Finally, the delegation had the opportunity to take a closer look at the counselling rooms at the Centre.
From this visit, RBAirF BAKTI members, especially the spouses of Commanding Officers, will be better informed to advise their RBAirF BAKTI members in their respective units to approach PRIHATIN Centre for professional help in the form of private and confidential counselling towards the betterment of their wellbeing and welfare matters.
LAWATAN BAKTI TUDB KE PUSAT PRIHATIN ABDB
BOLKIAH GARISON, Juma’at, 16 Februari 2024 - Persatuan Badan Kebajikan Isteri-Isteri Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (BAKTI TUDB) telah mengadakan lawatan pengenalan ke Pusat PRIHATIN Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB), Bolkiah Garison. Lawatan ini ialah sebagai lawatan pengenalan dan memahami fungsi utama Pusat PRIHATIN ABDB.
Rombongan seramai 16 orang, diketuai oleh Isteri kepada Pemerintah TUDB, Yang Mulia Datin Noraidah binti Haji Ibrahim selaku Ketua BAKTI TUDB. Turut hadir bersama ialah ahli-ahli BAKTI TUDB yang terdiri daripada isteri-isteri Ahli Badan Eksekutif TUDB dan isteri-isteri Pegawai-pegawai Pemerintah.
Ahli-ahli rombongan disambut baik oleh pegawai-pegawai Pusat PRIHATIN ABDB. Ucapan kata alu-aluan disampaikan oleh Kapten Hafizah binti Abdul Khalid, Ketua Sel Kaunseling, Pusat PRIHATIN ABDB dan diteruskan dengan taklimat mengenai pusat tersebut. Para rombongan juga didedahkan dengan aktiviti kaunseling yang dikendalikan oleh Pusat PRIHATIN ABDB, digelar Eksplorasi Motivasi Kendiri (EMK). Lawatan diakhiri dengan para rombongan meninjau dengan lebih dekat bilik-bilik Kaunseling di pusat tersebut.
Daripada lawatan tersebut, ahli-ahli BAKTI TUDB, terutama sekali isteri-isteri Pegawai Pemerintah cawangan akan dapat memanfaatkan pengetahuan yang diperolehi bagi menasihati ahli-ahli BAKTI di dalam cawangan masing-masing yang berkeinginan untuk mendapatkan bantuan profesional di Pusat PRIHATIN dalam bentuk kaunseling secara persendirian serta sulit bagi kebaikkan kesejahteraan dan hal-hal kebajikan ahli-ahli mereka.
