CANBERRA, Friday, 24 December 2021 – The Defence Diplomacy between the RBAF and the Australian Defence Force continues with the participation of an RBAirF officer to the Australian Command and Staff Course at the Australian Defence College, Canberra.
871 Major (U) Abdul Hamid bin Awang Moslim was selected to attend the course that will commence from 17 January – 22 December 2022. Present at the Brunei International Airport to send him off was Lieutenant Colonel (U) Hasnul Alwe bin Hj Matassan, Head of Capability Development Cell, RBAirF Headquarters. Upon arrival at the Canberra Airport, Major (U) Abdul Hamid was received by Commander Sonny Iskandar bin Rasani RBN, the Defence Advisor to Australia.
Major (U) Abdul Hamid is from the 3rd Intake of the Officer Cadet School RBAF and previously served as SO2 Capability Development Cell, RBAirF Headquarters and also the ADC to the Second Minister of Defence.
The RBAirF would like to congratulate Major (U) Abdul Hamid for being selected to represent the RBAF to the prestigious course and wishes him all the best for the course.

Australian Command and Staff di

871 Mejar (U) Abdul Hamid bin Awang Moslim telah dipilih untuk menyertai kursus tersebut yang akan bermula pada 17 Januari 2022 sehingga 22 Disember 2022. Turut hadir di Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Brunei sebelum beliau berlepas adalah Leftenan Kolonel (U) Hasnul Alwe bin Matassan, Ketua Sel Perkembangan Keupayaan Tentera, Markas TUDB. Ketibaannya di Lapangan Terbang Canberra disambut oleh Komander Sonny Iskandar bin Rasani TLDB, Penasihat Pertahanan ke Australia.
Mejar (U) Abdul Hamid adalah dari pengambilan ketiga Sekolah Pegawai Kadet ABDB dan sebelum ini pernah memegang jawatan sebagai Timbalan Pegawai Turus Sel Perkembangan Keupayaan Tentera, Markas TUDB dan Juruiring Tentera kepada Menteri Pertahanan Kedua.
TUDB mengucapkan tahniah kepada Mejar (U) Abdul Hamid kerana terpilih untuk mewakili ABDB ke kursus yang berprestij itu dan mendoakan agar beliau memperolehi pencapaian yang baik.
