BERAKAS, Saturday, 11 June
2022 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held a Dinner Night at the Officers’ Mess, Berakas Garrison. The event was held to commemorate the service of the former Commander Support Group (CSG) and in welcoming the newly commissioned Officers of Intake 20 as well as in congratulating the newly wedded RBAirF Officers.
The Guest of Honour of the event was Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, the Commander of RBAirF. In attendance were the Deputy Commander of RBAirF, RBAirF’s Board of Executives, Senior Officers, Officers and the spouses.
The event commenced with the photo session, followed by the recitation of
Doa Selamat and dinner. The event continued with a speech delivered by the Commander of RBAirF and concluded with memento presentation to the former Commander Support Group to appreciate his service toward Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and RBAirF.
During the speech, the Commander of RBAirF expressed his gratitude toward 33 years of service of Colonel (R) Harmadi bin Hj Matamit, the former CSG. The Commander of RBAirF continued to highlight the journey and the contributions as well as the achievements of the former CSG in RBAirF as Colonel (R) Harmadi was appointed as the first Supply Officer and the first CSG in RBAirF. The Commander of RBAirF also reminded RBAirF Officers to always be ready to learn and adapt especially when the future will always be filled with challenges. The Commander of RBAirF had the opportunities to welcomed the newly commissioned Intake 20 Officers and he also congratulated the newly wedded RBAirF Officers as well as welcoming their spouses.
The event was enlivened with the musical performance by the band from RBAF.
TUDB MENGADAKAN MAJLIS MAKAN MALAM BERADAT
BERAKAS, Sabtu, 11 Jun 2022 – Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Makan Beradat di Mes Pegawai, Berakas Garison. Majlis tersebut diadakan bagi meraikan persaraan bekas Pemerintah Kumpulan Bantu, dan mengalu-alukan Pegawai-Pegawai baru pengambilan ke-20 serta Pegawai-pegawai TUDB yang baru berkahwin.
Tetamu Kehormat majlis ialah Brigedier Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Pemerintah TUDB. Turut hadir ialah Timbalan Pemerintah TUDB, Badan Eksekutif TUDB, Pegawai-pegawai Kanan, Pegawai-pegawai serta isteri.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bergambar ramai dan bacaan Doa Selamat. Majlis diteruskan dengan makan malam beradat dan ucapan daripada Pemerintah TUDB. Majlis diakhiri dengan penyampaian cenderahati sebagai kenang-kenangan kepada bekas Pemerintah Kumpulan Bantu bagi jasa beliau di Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) dan TUDB.
Semasa ucapan Pemerintah TUDB, beliau menyatakan penghargaan terhadap Kolonel (B) Harmadi bin Hj Matamit, Mantan Pemerintah Kumpulan Bantu sepanjang perkhidmatan beliau selama 33 tahun. Pemerintah TUDB mengambil kesempatan untuk mengimbas kembali sejarah perjalanan Mantan Pemerintah Kumpulan Bantu serta penglibatan dan pencapaian beliau di TUDB yang mana beliau merupakan Pegawai Bekal yang pertama dan Pemerintah Kumpulan Bantu yang pertama dilantik di TUDB. Pemerintah TUDB turut berkesempatan untuk memberi peringatan kepada Pegawai-pegawai TUDB untuk sentiasa bersedia menyesuaikan diri untuk menghadapi cabaran pada masa akan datang. Selain itu, Pemerintah TUDB mengalu-alukan Pegawai-Pegawai pengambilan ke 20 dan memberikan ucapan tahniah kepada Pegawai-Pegawai TUDB yang baru berkahwin.
Majlis tersebut diserikan dengan iringan musik daripada Kumpulan Pancaragam dari ABDB.
