RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday,
09 November 2023 – No. 75 Squadron, No. 7 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held a closing ceremony for the Aircraft Technician Supervisory Upgrading (ATSU) Course No. 45 and Aviation Maintenance Management (AMM) Course No. 14. The ATSU Course commenced on the 15 September to 10 November 2023 (8 weeks), with a total of 07 participants, whereas the AMM Course began on 10 October to 10 November 2023 (5 weeks) with 11 participants. Both courses consisted of participants from the RBAirF, Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and Technical Equipment Maintenance Division (TEMD) engineers.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Major (U) Pg Abd Azim bin Pg Idris, the Acting Squadron Commander of No. 75 Squadron. The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and was followed by a speech from each course representative and the Guest of Honour. The ceremony concluded with the certificate presentation to the course participants and a closing Doa. The Best Student Award for the AMM course was awarded to Lieutenant Zainul Ariffin bin Ahmad, RBN whilst the Best Student Award for the ATSU course was awarded to Corporal (U) Mahdini bin Mohamad.
The AMM Course aims to equip aircraft technicians in the rank of Sergeant and above with the appropriate knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of Aviation Maintenance Management, personnel development, and engineering tasks. The ATSU Course aims to equip aircraft technicians in the rank of Corporal and Engineering 2 with the appropriate knowledge and understanding of the supervisory management, responsibilities, and duties required when working with aircraft

November 2023 – Skuadron 75, Cawangan No. 7, Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Penutup bagi Kursus Aircraft Technician Supervisory Upgrading (ATSU) dan Kursus Aviation Maintenance Management (AMM). Kursus ATSU No 45 telah dijalankan selama 8 minggu bermula daripada 15 September 2023 sehingga 10 November 2023 dan Kursus AMM No. 14 telah dijalankan selama 5 minggu bermula daripada 10 Oktober 2023 sehingga 10 November 2023. Peserta kursus terdiri daripada anggota TUDB, Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB) dan Jurutera
Technical Equipment Maintenance (TEMD).
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Mejar (U) Pg Abd Azim bin Pg Idris, Pemangku Pegawai Memerintah Skuadron No. 75, Cawangan No. 7. Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan diikuti dengan ucapan dari wakil-wakil penuntut kursus serta ucapan dari Tetamu Kehormat. Majlis diakhiri dengan penyampaian sijil bacaan Doa Penutup. Penuntut Terbaik Kursus AMM dianugerahkan kepada Leftenan Zainul Ariffin bin Ahmad, TLDB dan Penuntut Terbaik Kursus ATSU dianugerahkan kepada Koperal (U) Mahdini bin Mohamad.
Kursus AMM diadakan bagi mempersiapkan teknisyen pesawat yang berpangkat Sarjan keatas dengan pengetahuan dan kepakaran didalam asas pengurusan, perkembangan anggota dan tugasan kejuruteraan. Manakala Kursus ATSU bertujuan bagi mempersiapkan teknisyen pesawat yang berpangkat Koperal dan Jurutera 2 dengan pengetahuan dan kefahaman didalam aspek pengurusan, tanggungjawab dan tugasan penyelenggaraan pesawat
