RBAirF OFFICERS PARTICIPATE IN INAUGURAL SENIOR & JUNIOR OFFICER ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMME (SJOEP) WITH ROYAL THAI AIR FORCE
THAILAND, Friday, 15 September 2023 – To strengthen the cooperation and ties between the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) and Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF), 05 RBAirF Officers participated in the inaugural Senior & Junior Officer Engagement Programme (SJOEP) RTAF-RBAirF, held in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Kingdom of Thailand, from 11 to 15 September 2023. The RBAirF delegation was led by Lieutenant Colonel (U) Pengiran Haji Mohamed Khairul Arifin bin Pengiran Haji Mohammad Salleh, Commanding Officer of No. 5, Support Group, RBAirF. Also in attendance were Lieutenant Colonel (U) Pengiran Mohammad Zulhusmi bin Pengiran Mohammad Roslan, Commanding Officer of No. 7, and three (03) RBAirF Officers along with their spouses.
RBAirF HOLD THE OPENING OF DIKIR MAULUD 1445H
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Saturday, 16 September 2023 - As an expression of gratitude and love to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and to seek blessing from Allah Subahanhu Wa Ta’ala, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held the opening for Dikir Maulud 1445H to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The event which was organised by Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Religious Department (JAMMA’AT) held concurrently in all Suraus of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) garrisons, bases and camps.
EXERCISE PACIFIC ANGEL 23-3 CLOSING CEREMONY
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 15 September 2023 – The Closing Ceremony for Exercise Pacific Angel (Ex PACANGEL) 23-3 between the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) and United States Pacific Air Forces (US PACAF) was held today at the Air Movement Centre (AMC), Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB). The 5-day exercise was successfully conducted from 11 to 15 September 2023.
CEMETERY CLEANING CAMPAIGN HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH RBAF 62 ANNIVERSARY CONDUCTED BY NO. 7 WING
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Thursday, 14 September 2023 – Another cemetery cleaning campaign, Recital of Surah Yassin and Tahlil conducted by airmen from No. 7 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) at the Kampong Pulaie Muslim Cemetery for the late Lance Corporal (U) Muhammad Sharin bin Ahmad. As well as being part of RBAirF efforts toward Community Outreach, this campaign was held in conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) 62nd Anniversary.
JUNGLE SURVIVAL TRAINING FOR STUDENT PILOTS SESSION 02/2023
TEMBURONG, Friday, 15 September 2023 – A total of 04 Student Pilots from 73 Squadron, No. 7 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) underwent Jungle Survival Training and Rescue Simulation in Temburong District from 11 to 15 September 2023.
BALLOONS AND THREAT EVALUATION SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT EXCHANGE WITH PACIFIC INTEGRATED AIR AND MISSILE DEFENCE CENTER (PIC)
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 15 September 2023 – Officers from No. 2 Wing and 77 Squadron, No. 7 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) participated in a Subject Matter Expert Exchange (SMEE) series with the Pacific Integrated Air and Missile Defence Center (PIC). The SMEE, held by the United States of Pacific Air Force (US PACAF) was conducted via video teleconference (VTC). The topics focused on Balloons and Threat Evaluation.
