MODULE 1 PHASE 2 PROMOTION EXAMINATION 2022 FOR RBAirF OFFICERS
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Wednesday, 24 August 2022 – A total of 13 Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Officers with the rank of Captain, began their Module 1 Phase 2 (Air Power Presentation) Promotion Examination (PROMEX) today from the 24 August 2022 until 26 August 2022. The Promex mainly consists of 02 Modules; Module 1 – Air Power and Module 2 – Estimates and Orders.
RBAirF TAKES PART IN EXERCISE PITCH BLACK 2022
AUSTRALIA, Monday, 22 August 2022 - Exercise Pitch Black 2022 (PBK22), International Observer Group (IOG) is currently conducted in Darwin Australia from 19 August to 08 September 2022. The Exercise is a biennial event conducted by the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and is a premier aerospace operational activity held in the Northern Territory of Australia.

UNIVERSITI BRUNEI DARUSSALAM, Monday, 22 August 2022 – His Royal Highness Prince (Dr) Haji Al- Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Pro-Chancellor of Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) consented to grace the afternoon session of the 34th Convocation Ceremony of UBD and presented the certificates to the graduates today at the Chancellor Hall, UBD.
THE BASIC INTRODUCTORY AL-QURAN WORKSHOP FOR RBAIRF PERSONNEL
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 19 August 2022 – The Basic Introductory Al-Quran Workshop for military and civilian personnel of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) organised by the Religious Affairs Department of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JAMA’AT) was conducted from 15 August 2022 to 19 August 2022 at the Fire Service Flight, Training Room, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB).
BASIC HELICOPTER COURSE 50 STUDENT PILOTS’ FIRST SOLO FLIGHT
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 19 August 2022 – 04 Student Pilots undergoing the Basic Helicopter Course 50 (BHC 50) at 73 Squadron, No. 7 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), have successfully completed their first Solo Flight aboard the Bell 206B JetRanger III between 11 to 19 August 2022. As part of the Flying Training Squadron tradition, Student pilots who have undergone their first solo flight will receive a congratulatory hose down by their Officer in Command as well their Qualified Flying Instructors (QHI) on the coveted ‘Solo Chair’.
RBAirF OFFICER HEADS TO INDONESIA, TO ATTEND INTERMEDIATE INDONESIAN INTENSIVE LANGUAGE COURSE AND INDONESIAN AIR FORCE COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Friday, 19 August 2022 - Defence Diplomacy between the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and Indonesian National Armed Forces continues with the participation of a Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) officer to Indonesian Air Force Command and Staff Course Session 2022/2023. The course consists of 04 Months Intermediate Indonesian Intensive Language Course at Ministry of Defence Language Education and Training Centre that will commence on 25 August 2022, Southern Jakarta and followed by another 11 months of Command and Staff Course at the Indonesian Air Force Command and Staff College, Bandung.
