PROMOTION CEREMONY FOR 61 SENIOR NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS AND JUNIOR NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS FROM OPERATIONS GROUP, RBAirF.
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday, 25 January 2024 – A Promotion Ceremony for 61 personnel of the Operations Group consisting of 10 Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) and 51 Junior Non-Commissioned Officers (JNCOs) took place Mat Dewan Punai, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB).
PROMOTION CEREMONY FOR ELEVEN JUNIOR NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS OF NO. 4 WING, SUPPORT GROUP, RBAirF.
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday, 25 January 2024 – A Promotion Ceremony was conducted at the No. 4 Wing Headquarters, Support Group, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF). Eleven Junior Non-Commissioned Officers (JNCOs) of No. 4 Wing were promoted, comprising three Substantive Corporals, one Substantive Lance Corporal, and seven Acting Lance Corporals. The presentation of the rank insignia during the ceremony was carried out by Lieutenant Colonel (U) Pengiran Muhammad Farisan bin Pengiran Haji Metassan, the Commanding Officer of No. 4 Wing. Also in attendance at the ceremony were Officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) of No. 4 Wing.
TOOLS DOWN DAY 2024
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday, 25 January 2024 – No. 5 Wing, Support Group, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held the first Tools Down Day at Hangar B, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB). Present as the Guest of Honour was Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Commander of the RBAirF. Also in attendance were Senior Officers, Officers, personnel and civilian staffs of RBAirF.

RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, WEDNESDAY, 24 January 2024 - His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, today graced a ceremony for the arrival of the first two C295MW aircrafts held at the Air Movement Centre, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB).
15 SQUADRON NO. 1 WING, AIRCREW WELCOMED BY 8 SQUADRON, SUBANG AIR BASE, ROYAL MALAYSIAN AIR FORCE, SELANGOR, MALAYSIA.
MALAYSIA, Tuesday, 23 January 2024 – A welcoming event for the C295MW crew was held by 8 Squadron at Subang Air Base, Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF). Four Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) personnel from 15 Squadron, No. 1 Wing, RBAirF, landed in Subang, Malaysia, as one of their stop over for ferry flight from Seville, Spain, alongside six aircrew from Airbus Defence and Space.
RBAirF RECEIVED WORKING VISIT FROM THE JAPAN MINISTRY OF DEFENCE
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Monday, 22 January 2024 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) received a visit from the Japan Ministry of Defence at RBAirF’s Headquarters, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB). The delegation of the Japan Ministry of Defence was headed by Major Kawanishi Hidenao.
